This hammock swing stand arrived very quickly in a rather well worn box. Likely due to the weight of the individual parts. But once assembled is a very strong, very heavy, high quality stand. I shopped around and needed one that could hold just in excess of 300lbs. This one certrainly does the job. Seems it could take much more weight actually.

Was taking a chance on the taupe color since we had natural/white before but am loving this color. The hammock is barely visible in our backyard; blends in much nicer than the natural color. The crossbars are a classy dark wood stain. The size is plenty for myself and any kiddies; haven't tried it with my husband yet but seems like it'd be fine. The ropes seem loosely plied (a concern for durability), but are super-soft; I like a poly blend for the quick-drying time and antimicrobial qualities. For (after shipping), this can't be beat.

I bought the Con2our chair last year and this stand and I do love both. I read the other review and have not had the problem with the wobbling of the stand, yet. Perhaps because I have the actual Green Eggs & Hammock made chair on it?? I am not sure. My neighbor bought a hammock rope like chair & stand last year after I got my Con2our and hers can wobble. It is in the back yard on grass. She just has to be careful getting in and out. I garden and need to take many breaks due to chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia and will sit in my chair and can fall asleep. Believe me, it isn't easy for me to be comfortable just anywhere on anything and when I fell asleep on this I was shocked. The foot & arm rest really are nice and I love mine and haven't regretted it once. I only regret when the fall comes and I have to put everything away for the winter. :-) I highly recommend this chair. Was going to get a hammock but didn't have the room and am so glad I didn't.
